On June 1, 1993, Southwest Convenience Stores (SCS), headquartered in Odessa, Texas, purchased 150 7-Eleven stores in West Texas and New Mexico from The Southland Corporation. Today, the company currently owns and operates more than 170 stores in El Paso, Lubbock, Odessa, Midland, Big Spring and Wichita Falls, Texas, and Albuquerque, N.M.
