Daniel Porter
Vice President, Real Estate & New Store Development

Daniel Porter is Vice President of Real Estate and New Store Development. He is responsible for new store development, network planning and strategy development, existing store-base optimization, property management, supervising a field team of real estate professionals and other real estate-related activities.

Porter joined 7-Eleven in 2004 as a Real Estate Manager for the 7-Eleven’s Southwest division (Southern California). Soon after joining 7-Eleven, he became a network planning manager and then served as the company’s senior director of real estate and new store development.

He began his career in the convenience store industry more than 20 years ago with Mobil Oil and then ExxonMobil. He held various positions including field consultant, market manager, marketing administrative manager, and business development manager. Additionally, he directed marketing strategies, retail programs and promotions including joint venture development as a national business manager for Mobil Mart, & Car Wash.

A Chicago native, Porter has a bachelor of business degree from St. Norbert College. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and holds a California real estate license.
